Your piano tutor in Chesterfield: Martin Carline
If you’re looking for a piano tutor in the Chesterfield area, then look no further. Martin Carline teaches piano to all ages, and all levels.
Martin teaches many different styles ranging from classical, to blues and boogie woogie; from ballads, pop music, to movie themes. Martin also specialises in teaching improvisation, for those of you who want to throw the music out of the window. Or you may even want to work your way through the classical grades with the ABRSM.
When you’re looking for a piano tutor, it’s important you find someone that is able to adapt to fit your needs. There are many tutors out there that only teach classical; however Martin understands that there are also a range of other styles out there that people would like to learn. So if classical isn’t for you, then why not consider learning the blues, or that Rhianna song in the charts? Or how about that great movie theme tune that you love?
Are you worried that it may be too late to learn?
Worry no more! It doesn’t matter how old you are – anyone can learn. The most important thing to have is passion, and if you have plenty of this then you’re already halfway there. Like many others, you probably think that learning to play the piano will take you forever because you haven’t been playing since you were a child. This is a common misconception, and as long as you have the time, passion and energy required to progress, then it doesn’t matter how old you are.

“There will always be someone out there that can play better than you. Music is not a competition. So don’t worry about winning or losing, just focus on learning and enjoying.”
